It doesn't — or at least, I work hard to make sure it doesn't. I've worn hearing aids every day for over a decade. I started this site because I was frustrated by reviews written by people who've never put a hearing aid in their ear.

My rankings and recommendations are based on performance, value, and real-world usability — not commission rates. If a product I have an affiliate link for performed poorly, I say so. If a product I don't earn anything on is the right answer for someone, I recommend it.
