ELEHEAR Delight Review 2026: Lab Scores, Price and the Fine Print

HearAdvisor puts every device on a manikin in a lab, scores five things out of 5, rolls them into one SoundScore and a letter grade, and badges the product against the rest of the OTC category. The Delight got a 4.3 and a Grade A, with a badge that reads "Top 12% of OTC hearing aid." Its lab page is dated September 15, 2026.

Quiet speech is where it earns its grade. A 4.0 is 1.21 points above the OTC average, and music streaming is 1.18 above. Own voice is the best of the five devices on my lab data page, though HearAdvisor still calls it mixed in absolute terms.

Noise is the weak spot. A 1.8 is above the OTC average, and HearAdvisor says so, but it also calls the result low in absolute terms. It's lower than the Beyond Pro (2.5) and the RIC800 (2.4). ELEHEAR's spec table lists one omnidirectional microphone. Yeasound lists two for the RIC800. I can't prove that's the reason, but it fits.

Feedback is good at 4.2 but below the category average of 4.54. It's the only A-graded device I cover that doesn't hit a perfect 5.0 there, so a bit of whistling is more possible than on the others.

It was measured with a closed vented dome, an integrated receiver and ELEHEAR's default formula at 64% volume (7 out of 11), firmware v1.0.8, noise control on Adaptive. The tuned fit matched the initial fit on every score, which is also true of the RIC800, Beyond Pro and Atom X.

HearingTracker's Delight review (updated July 2026) says top 15%, and says the Delight is outperformed by the Beyond Pro. The lab's own September page has it at 4.3 against the Beyond Pro's 4.2, with a top 12% badge. HearingTracker also compares against all hearing aids, prescription included, so its deltas aren't comparable. I use the lab's page.

3. Battery

ELEHEAR's spec table says up to 13.5 hours on a single charge, in hearing-aid mode only. The charging case adds two extra charges, and HearingTracker agrees on that. I didn't find a streaming figure on ELEHEAR's product page, so if you stream for hours, expect less than 13.5.

That's well short of the RIC800 (up to 23 hours) and the Beyond Pro (about 20), and only a little past the Atom X's 12+. It's a day of wear with the case as backup, not a two-day aid. One reviewer HearingTracker recruited, using devices ELEHEAR supplied, found it fine for all-day wear.

4. Fit, Comfort and the App

This is an earbud-style aid, not an invisible one. HearAdvisor's summary calls it a visible in-ear style, HearingTracker calls the design earbud-like, and ELEHEAR sells it that way. It comes with ear wings for retention. HearingTracker's reviewer found it fairly comfortable with good retention, and the build better than expected for the price. Fit still matters with any in-ear aid, and one reviewer in Amazon's customer summary says theirs tend to fall out.

There are tap controls on the aids, and an ELEHEAR app for iOS and Android that handles volume, tone, noise control, preset modes, battery monitoring and firmware updates. The guest reviewer HearingTracker used (ELEHEAR sent him the aids) found the Bluetooth pairing tricky, the app limited, and noisy places poor.

ELEHEAR advertises remote audiologist support. Its return policy carves out its ElePro Plus teleaudiology service from the 45-day guarantee, so ask what's included before you count on it.

5. Two Sets of Ratings

ELEHEAR's own site shows 4.74 stars across 110 reviews. The Amazon listing shows 3.4 stars across 87 ratings, and more than 300 were bought in the past month. Amazon's own summary says customers find the quality and Bluetooth good, but sound quality, noise cancellation, reliability and fit all get mixed feedback, with some reporting static and background noise.

I'd weigh the Amazon number more, since the seller doesn't run that rating, and it matches the lab's warning about noise. Both are small samples. It's another reason to use the return window.

6. Pros and Cons

It suits adults with mild to moderate loss whose hard moments are one-on-one or in quiet rooms, who like the earbud look, and who want to spend the least. If your hard moments are family dinners or restaurants, the Beyond Pro or the RIC800 are better buys. ELEHEAR tells people with severe loss to see a hearing care professional instead.

7. Price, Returns and Where to Buy

On September 30, 2026 the Amazon listing showed $299. It's sold by ELEHEAR and ships from Amazon, and it's in stock. ELEHEAR's own site showed $331, marked down from $419. HearAdvisor lists $315, so prices have moved around. Amazon is $32 cheaper than buying direct.

The catch is the return window. ELEHEAR's return policy describes a 45-day money-back guarantee for purchases from its own website. It asks for the original package with all accessories and the charging case, a return label from ELEHEAR, and the return shipped within seven days. The refund arrives five to seven working days after the warehouse inspects it. The Amazon listing says free 30-day refund or replacement. The policy lists Amazon only as an authorized seller for warranty purposes. Amazon also lists the Delight as FSA and HSA eligible.

So it's $32 and Amazon's easy returns against 15 more days to decide.

The Delight beats the Beyond Pro in a quiet room (4.0 against 3.3) and on the composite score, and loses to it in noise (1.8 against 2.5). It costs about half as much. If you'd rather compare them all side by side, use the OTC hearing aid finder.
