Jabra Enhance Select M Series Review 2026: M1 vs M2 vs M3

Where to look: Jabra Enhance direct (100-day trial, audiology included), the Amazon M3 Aureon ($1,995) or M2 Swift ($999), both 30-day returns, or ZipHearing for a local audiologist. Prices read September 30, 2026.

1. M1 vs M2 vs M3

Jabra Enhance is replacing its existing lineup with three FDA-cleared, self-fitting, rechargeable receiver-in-ear models. HearingTracker reports the launch ends the Select 700, 300 and 50R. The figures below are Jabra's own, read on its compare page.

All three share the same basics: Bluetooth streaming and hands-free calls for Apple and Android, Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast, an IP68 rating, 2.12 grams per aid, and a charging case. Jabra rates the aids at 24 hours, and the case holds three more full charges, which Jabra's M3 page puts at up to 96 hours on the go.

The noise labels are Jabra's marketing, not measurements. Keep that in mind in the next section.

2. What the Lab Has Tested

I couldn't find a HearAdvisor page for the M1, M2 or M3. The lab's Jabra entries are the older Select 200, 300, 500, 700 and 50R, the Pro 20 and the Plus. HearingTracker says the M3 builds on the Select 700's feature set, including SoundScape with Auto Focus, LE Audio and TapControl. So the 700 is the closest thing to evidence, and these are the lab's own numbers for it.

The 700 was good on own voice (4.3) and feedback (5.0), and poor on speech in noise at 1.0, which the lab lists as a drawback. For comparison, the Beyond Pro scores 2.5 and the RIC800 2.4 in noise. Auto Focus was already on the 700, so it isn't a reason to assume the M3 fixes that.

A new model doesn't inherit its predecessor's score, and Jabra may well have improved the noise handling. But nobody has measured it, and I'm not going to repeat "best hearing in noise" as though someone had.

3. Direct vs Amazon: Not the Same Purchase

Jabra's own FAQ says aids bought from other merchants might not include audiology services and can differ on trial, warranty and loss and damage cover. The Amazon listings show it.

The M2 Swift at $999 is $696 below Jabra's own $1,695 M2, but it looks like a self-fit package with no audiology, which is a large part of what the direct price buys. Jabra's M1 didn't show up on Amazon. The Amazon listings have no ratings worth leaning on yet, so the 4.5 figure on Jabra's site is the only number around, and it comes from customers Jabra's own audiology team has helped.

Amazon also still lists the discontinued Select 700 at $998. Make sure the title says M1, M2 or M3 before you order.

4. Trial, Warranty and Loss and Damage

These are Jabra's terms for aids bought direct.

The trial is 100 days from delivery. You have to start the return with Jabra support by midnight Eastern on the last day, and Jabra has to receive the items within 14 days after that. The aids have to come back in the same condition, apart from normal wear, with the cords and accessories. Jabra pays return shipping on the initial return, and the refund goes to your original payment method.

Warranty and loss and damage both run three years for purchases after August 17, 2025. The warranty covers defects and excludes misuse and accidents, and a replacement can include refurbished internal parts. Loss and damage has a $195 deductible for the hearing aids and $175 for the charger. Covered devices can be replaced only once per coverage period, and the replacement has to cover both aids in a pair.

The once-only replacement and the deductible are worth knowing before you call three years of cover a safety net.

5. Audiology: What's Included, and the Alternative

Buy direct and you get three years of remote audiology: a video orientation call, follow-ups as needed, and adjustments sent to the aids through the app. HearingTracker notes that Jabra's professionals can change things you can't, including microphone directionality, compression and advanced noise reduction, starting from the self-fit test or an audiogram you send.

That's a real benefit, and it's the main thing the M Series has over the cheaper aids I rank above it. If you want to do it in person instead, or you'd rather have a local audiologist and not a remote service, ZipHearing sells Phonak, Oticon, Signia, Starkey, Widex and ReSound aids through local providers, listed from about $2,100 to $4,900 a pair. 6. Pros and Cons

It suits someone who wants the most discreet size, values having remote audiologists on call for three years, and is fine paying for that. If raw performance per dollar is the point, it isn't the one.

For the price of an M3 you could buy the RIC800 and the Beyond Pro and have $847 left. The M Series's case rests on support and size, not on measured sound.

8. Frequently Asked Questions
