If you reach ZipHearing through my links and complete an action on its site, such as submitting a form, I earn a $50 referral fee at no extra cost to you. I earn nothing from hear.com or Costco, and my links to them are plain links. Prices and terms below were read from each company's own pages in October 2026 and can change.

What It Costs, by Tier

The Reveal comes in four technology levels, and the number after the name is the tier, with 1 the highest. These are ZipHearing's listed prices per pair, read on October 7, 2026.

ModelZipHearing's labelPrice per pair
Reveal 1Premium$4,598
Reveal 2Advanced$3,898
Reveal 3Mid$3,298
Reveal 4Low$2,898
ZipHearing lists the Reveal at $2,898 to $4,598 a pair. Other sellers price it differently, so get a written quote for the same tier from a local clinic. Its customer rating on ZipHearing is 4.3 from 5 reviews, ZipHearing's own count.

The price includes a year of local follow-up. ZipHearing's model page says the first year of fitting, programming and follow-up care is included and appointments after that are $65 each. It also confirmed to me by email on October 7, 2026 that a hearing test can cost up to $150, credited if you buy, and custom earmolds are $50 each. The model page lists a 45-day risk-free trial and a 3-year warranty.

What the Lab Measured

HearAdvisor scored the Oticon Reveal 1 miniRITE 5.1, Grade A, the highest SoundScore of the 13 aids on my lab page. Its page shows no percentile badge, so I don't quote one. Only the Reveal 1 was tested. The 2, 3 and 4 tiers have no lab score, and a lower tier doesn't inherit the top tier's number.

FitSpeech in QuietSpeech in NoiseOwn VoiceMusicFeedback
Initial (out of the box)4.93.21.94.25.0
Tuned (professionally adjusted)4.83.31.93.55.0
Scores out of 5, read from HearAdvisor's product page on October 6, 2026 (page dated September 16, 2026). The lab tests on a mild-to-moderate hearing loss, so these scores don't tell you how it handles a severe one.

The Reveal 1 wins on quiet speech (4.9) and feedback (a perfect 5.0), and it barely changes with tuning. That's different from Phonak's EON Sphere, where tuning moves noise a full point. Speech in noise is middling (3.2 to 3.3 against 4.5 on the EON Sphere), and own voice is low at 1.9. If a quiet room and a clean, whistle-free fit matter most to you, those scores favor it. If noisy rooms are the problem, they don't.

How It Compares

Oticon's earlier Intent scored 4.8 and ZipHearing now tags it "outdated," so the Reveal is the model to look at if you want Oticon's current flagship line. They're different aids, and one's score doesn't carry to the other. For the Costco alternative, see the ZipHearing, hear.com and Costco comparison. The Costco Rexton scored 4.6 at about $1,600 a pair.
